Proficiency amidst COVID-19 challenges in developing computer programs

The educational system has been greatly affected by the COVID-19 pandemic which lead to cancellation of face-to-face classes from different learning institutions in whole world. Using descriptive and phenomenological approach, this study determined programming proficiency level sophomore computer science students where laboratories were not available online through management was just one options deliver lessons students. It across four indicators (program design, program execution, specification satisfaction coding structures). Findings revealed that have an “advanced skills application” evaluative indicators. also found out levels based their groupings do vary gave meaningful output project. further manifested main concerns or problems developing programs are lack skills, insufficient knowledge programming, weak internet connection, communication barriers among members passive participation group.
